Delivery & Returns
Seller and buyers
UAB „Edvado“, company code 304541209, VAT LT100011467716, A. Vivulskio g. 7, Vilnius, Lithuania. EDVADO sells equipment to businesses (B2B) and consumers (B2C). A consumer is a natural person purchasing for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession; not every individual purchaser is a consumer. Professional equipment, a company field in a form or an invoice label does not by itself remove consumer status. B2B conditions apply only to business purchases and cannot restrict mandatory consumer rights.
Delivery agreed before purchase
The site receives quotation enquiries, not online orders or payments. For B2C distance contracts, pre-contract information and confirmation on a durable medium are required even if agreement is later reached by email. Available destinations and existing delivery arrangements, total price including applicable taxes and transport/customs charges or their calculation, and the delivery date must be communicated before the consumer is bound. Delivery options and charges are agreed for the purchase; this information page does not set a universal delivery tariff. Unless a different delivery time is agreed, the statutory consumer rule is delivery without undue delay and within 30 days after conclusion of the contract. For late delivery the consumer normally sets an appropriate additional period, then may terminate if delivery still fails; statutory exceptions allow immediate termination, including refusal to deliver or an essential agreed deadline. Risk normally passes when the consumer or a designated third party other than the carrier physically receives the goods; the legal exception for an independently commissioned carrier not offered by the seller remains.
B2C: 14-day right of withdrawal
For an applicable distance sale of goods, a consumer may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days from the day after the consumer or their designated third party other than the carrier receives the goods; for one order delivered separately, from receipt of the last item, and for a single item in lots or pieces, from receipt of the last lot or piece. Notify UAB „Edvado“ at info@edvado.com or by post to A. Vivulskio g. 7, Vilnius, Lithuania with an unequivocal statement before expiry. You may use the optional model below but need not use a special form or obtain prior permission. Keep proof of sending. Failure to provide the required withdrawal information can extend the period by up to 12 months after the original period; if supplied during that extension, 14 days run from its receipt. These periods follow the applicable consumer rules.
Return, reimbursement and handling
After notifying withdrawal, return the goods without undue delay and within 14 days of the notice, unless EDVADO offers to collect them; timely dispatch satisfies this obligation. Ask for the correct physical return destination promptly, without delaying the statutory deadline. EDVADO must reimburse payments, including the least expensive standard outbound delivery offered for that purchase, without undue delay and within 14 days of being informed. Extra cost of a more expensive delivery choice is not refundable. Reimbursement uses the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise without fees. For goods, EDVADO may withhold reimbursement until it receives the goods or proof of dispatch, whichever is earlier, unless it offers collection. Direct return costs are borne by the consumer only if properly disclosed before contracting and not undertaken by EDVADO; for goods not normally returnable by post, the required cost information must also be provided. A no-reason withdrawal is subject to the costs and deductions permitted by law, not an automatic restocking fee. The consumer is liable only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish nature, characteristics and functioning; not if required withdrawal information was omitted. Opening packaging or reasonable inspection is not automatically a bar. Defect-remedy transport is at the seller’s cost, distinct from a no-reason withdrawal.
Statutory exceptions — not a blanket exclusion
Exceptions apply only where their legal conditions actually hold and must be explained before contracting. Potentially relevant examples are goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised (not merely a standard model ordered or normally configured); sealed software or audio/video recordings unsealed after delivery; sealed goods genuinely unsuitable for return for health/hygiene reasons and unsealed after delivery; and goods inseparably mixed with other items after delivery. Other statutory exceptions remain limited to their actual scope. Standard electronic equipment, activation, installation or opened ordinary packaging alone does not create a general exception. If separately contracted services or non-tangible digital content are supplied, loss of withdrawal rights requires the applicable express prior consent, acknowledgement and durable-medium confirmation; a service loses the right only after full performance under the statutory conditions. An express request for service during the withdrawal period may entail only the legally due proportionate payment, not an arbitrary penalty. Having firmware alone does not make a device exempt from withdrawal. Withdrawal exceptions never remove conformity rights for defective goods.
Optional model withdrawal notice
To: UAB „Edvado“, A. Vivulskio g. 7, Vilnius, Lithuania; info@edvado.com. I/We hereby give notice that I/We withdraw from my/our contract of sale of the following goods: ________. Ordered on ________/received on ________. Name of consumer(s): ________. Address of consumer(s): ________. Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): ________. Date: ________. Delete as appropriate. A purchase reference may help locate the transaction but is not an additional statutory form requirement. Do not send passwords or unnecessary payment data.
B2B deliveries and returns
For B2B purchases, supply, payment, delivery, voluntary warranty, acceptance and agreed returns are governed by the applicable law and terms validly agreed in the contract, quotation or invoice. An invoice cannot unilaterally introduce unagreed restrictions. The consumer 14-day no-reason withdrawal right does not automatically apply to B2B; this does not exclude business buyers’ rights for defects or other mandatory law. B2B provisions must never be applied to restrict B2C rights. Applicable mandatory Lithuanian/EU rules, including stronger protection under applicable consumer law, prevail; these website terms do not restrict that protection.
Claims, contact and dispute resolution
Send a written claim to info@edvado.com; for technical faults you may also use support@edvado.com or the technical support form. Postal correspondence: UAB „Edvado“, A. Vivulskio g. 7, Vilnius, Lithuania. Identify the purchase (receipt, invoice or other proof), model, problem and requested remedy, with proportionate supporting evidence. A serial number, original packaging or use of a particular form is not an automatic condition of statutory rights. Keep a copy of your claim. A form receipt confirms that the request was saved; it is not a decision on your claim. Under Lithuanian consumer law, consumer claims must be examined free of charge and receive a detailed, reasoned written response supported by documents within 14 days of receipt. This response deadline is not a promised repair completion date or the withdrawal deadline. If rejected, partly satisfied or unanswered in that period, the consumer can apply to VVTAT (State Consumer Rights Protection Authority), VVTAT, including via VTIS, without losing access to a court. An EDVADO purchase claim is against EDVADO as seller, not exclusively the manufacturer. Other sellers remain responsible for their own sales. Confirm the physical return destination before dispatch; this does not require prior authorisation to exercise statutory rights. For the Lithuanian out-of-court consumer dispute route, VVTAT specifies contacting the seller within 3 months of learning or being expected to learn of the rights violation, and applying to the dispute body within 1 year of contacting the seller. These procedural limits are distinct from the legal guarantee and do not replace other statutory rights or limitation rules.
