Privacy Policy
Controller and scope
UAB „Edvado“, company code 304541209, VAT LT100011467716, A. Vivulskio g. 7, Vilnius, Lithuania. This company is the controller of personal data collected through the website and sells to B2B and B2C buyers. Contact: info@edvado.com; technical requests: support@edvado.com. This notice covers browsing, equipment enquiries, support, withdrawal notices and purchase claims, not separate services reached through external links. Customer status does not remove GDPR protection for natural persons, including business representatives.
Data you provide
Quote requests collect name, company, email, telephone, country, selected products, quantities, language and an optional comment. Support collects the same contact details, device model, subject, description, an optional device identifier and optional files. Up to three JPG/PNG/WebP/TXT/LOG files can be attached, 2 MB each and 6 MB in total. Do not send passwords, access tokens, unnecessary location records, special-category data or other people’s personal data without a lawful reason.
Purchase claims and consumer rights
For B2B/B2C claims, conformity rights, commercial warranties and withdrawal, we process contact details, purchase proof, product and fault information, correspondence and necessary refund details. Contract handling is covered by Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, specific legal duties by Article 6(1)(c), and representatives’ communications and establishment or defence of claims by Article 6(1)(f), where applicable. Relevant information may be shared with personnel, necessary providers, advisers and competent authorities for these purposes. Do not send full card details or passwords. The 14-day Lithuanian consumer-claim response deadline is separate from the usual one-month GDPR rights deadline.
Purposes and lawful bases
Enquiry data is used to respond, prepare offers and provide technical assistance. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to necessary steps requested by an individual before a contract or performance of their contract. Business communication with company representatives, support and claims handling serve legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), subject to the individual’s overriding rights and interests. Security and abuse prevention also serve legitimate interests. Article 6(1)(c) applies where a specific legal obligation requires processing, retention or disclosure. Optional Google Maps relies on consent under Article 6(1)(a) and applicable device-storage rules. The support checkbox is not consent to marketing or Google Maps.
How requests are processed
Submitted forms are stored with a request reference, time and processing status. Support attachments are stored privately and may be included in support email notifications. Quote enquiries are directed to info@edvado.com and technical enquiries to support@edvado.com. A website receipt confirms that the request was saved; it is not a sales agreement or decision on a claim. Form scripts do not save draft fields or attachment contents in localStorage.
Browsing, security and local preferences
Your browser sends connection information, including IP address, browser details and requested URL, to the hosting infrastructure. Connection data is used to deliver the site, maintain security and limit abusive requests. Theme and device-comparison choices use localStorage; temporary form identifiers remain in page memory. The Cookie Policy describes these records and their duration. The site does not use analytics, advertising trackers or a marketing newsletter integration.
Recipients and external services
Relevant EDVADO personnel and hosting, IT and email providers needed to operate the service handle enquiry and support information. Information may also be disclosed to advisers or authorities where necessary and lawful for a claim or legal obligation. Google Maps is optional: it loads only after consent, then receives connection data and may use its own storage under Google’s policies. Links to Locavist, WhatsApp and other websites lead to separate services with their own privacy notices. Personal form data is not added to those links.
International transfers
External services, including Google Maps when enabled, may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Such processing is subject to the service’s privacy terms and applicable GDPR transfer requirements; consent to display the map is not a waiver of those requirements. You may request information about recipients, processing locations and applicable transfer safeguards, including how to obtain a copy, at info@edvado.com. Refusing the map does not prevent use of enquiries, support or documents.
Retention and deletion
Enquiry and support records, attachments, email notifications and correspondence are separate copies. The criteria for retention are the purpose and handling of the enquiry, any resulting contract, applicable legal obligations and the need to establish, exercise or defend claims. These criteria, rather than a single fixed period, apply to these records. Submitting a form does not start an automatic deletion countdown. You may ask about the retention of your enquiry or request erasure at info@edvado.com; erasure is subject to legal retention requirements and the conditions below. Browser preference durations are given in the Cookie Policy.
Your choices and rights
Where applicable, you may request access and a copy, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Withdraw Maps consent at any time using Privacy settings; withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. Contact info@edvado.com with enough information to locate your request; proportionate identity checks may be necessary. GDPR normally requires a response within one month, with a possible two-month extension for complexity or volume after notice within the first month. Rights are subject to statutory conditions, including lawful retention of evidence. You may complain to Lithuania’s State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI), VDAI, or another competent supervisory authority, and seek a judicial remedy.
Required information, automation and updates
The forms identify required fields; the current form cannot be submitted without them. Device identifier, attachments and quote comment are optional. Do not include information unnecessary for your enquiry. The site does not use personal data for behavioural profiling or solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, and does not sell personal data. Security rate limits do not decide creditworthiness or eligibility. This notice is updated when processing changes. Updated: 21 October 2026.
